The Winding Controller MCU is the processor-controlled real-time solution for winders and winders for future-proof and simple implementation of high-precision package and winding patterns.
For a perfect winding pattern, the Winding Controller has a real-time control for the traverser, which synchronizes the linear drive with the package drive without control deviation. The controller supports laying on different cylindrical or conical spools.
Materials such as wire, flat wire, fine wire, cable, filament or fiber can be spooled perfectly and easily with different winding patterns.
Fully automatic detection of the coil geometry and reversal points at the flanges of the coil can be implemented with the Winding Controller and the coil scanner TDS. For layer-precise winding, the Winding Controller can adjust the laying pitch in real time based on the measurement data from the MPS wire scanner.
The Winding Controller takes over the entire process control and regulation of the linear drives and coil drives. The comprehensive equipment of the Winding Controller convinces with intelligent technical functions for automated winding, unwinding, rewinding and rewinding.
The Winding Controller has all the necessary digital and analog connections for the sensors and drives of all ED, MW and SW class winders. The integrated communication ports ensure easy and efficient connection of multiple systems such as tochpanel, PC, HMI or PLC.
The functional scope of the Winding Controller can be optimally adapted to the requirements of the machine by means of the software modules and can always be expanded.
plug and play: All enabled functions of the Winding Controller MCU can be operated and observed visually on a PC, touch panel or SIMENS SIMATIC HMI using the SUMMI software without any programming knowledge.
