Supertek

Think tank from Emden in East Frisia.

Your competent partner in winding technology!

Idea driver, developer and managing director Gerd Janssen presents the new SW class in June 2020.

Supertek continuously optimizes, develops and manufactures new products, machines and software solutions for decoiling, recoiling and rewinding of wires and fibers with its well-coordinated team for the industry.

Supertek GmbH was founded in 2005 by Gerd Janssen in a small workshop in his hometown of Emden in East Frisia.

While still studying electrical engineering, he developed and patented a revolutionary wire tension control system, the electromagnetic dancer, and won the Lower Saxony Startup Award.

After various optimizations and test phases, Gerd Janssen presented the electromagnetic dancer at the wire trade fair in Düsseldorf in 2008 with the help of a specially built fully electronic rewinding system.

The world novelty convinced and excited the trade visitors so much that the then small 7.5 m² booth could hardly cope with the onslaught.

Not only the electromagnetic dancer, but also the rewinding system, originally built for demonstration purposes only, was so well received that Supertek, with its consistent further development, has meanwhile become the technological market leader in decoiling and rewinding systems for finest wires and fibers.

Due to the steady growth, Supertek moved into a new company building with over 1000 m² of office space, modern workshop and assembly hall at Nesserlander Strasse 120, in Emden, in 2012.

The Supertek team is looking forward to your inquiry and will be happy to create your individual solution.
